Ellie Harvie (April 7, 1965, in Belleville, Canada) is a Canadian actress. She became known for her role as Morticia in The New Addams Family (1998–1999) and later played Dr. Lindsey Novak in Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. Harvie started her career in theater and was part of the Vancouver TheatreSports group. She won the Just for Laughs Improv Tournament in Montreal in 1995 and received a Gemini Award nomination for her comedy work. In addition to her notable TV appearances, she starred in films such as The 6th Day (2000), Love Happens (2009), and Tooth Fairy (2010). She also had roles in Aurora Teagarden Mysteries (2015–2022) and Some Assembly Required (2014–2016). Harvie is active in the acting community and hosted the first UBCP/ACTRA Awards in 2012, honoring talents from British Columbia.
