Tina a kindergarten teacher from a poor family is persuaded to be a prostitute in Jakarta, after being trapped by a women-trafficking syndicate. Meanwhile, her rich boyfriend, Anwar, is truly in love with her, but makes a mistake when he gives her up to a man whom he thinks loves her deeply. Tina is admitted into a mental institution after breaking down. Anwar regrets his decision, and tries with all his best to cure her and he finally succeeds.
