A man Elliot "Lightning" Scott wakes up in a hospital bed from a coma, not able to remember anything about his life except that two men killed his cat and put him in a hospital. A woman Linda Lum in traditional Chinese clothing helps him escape the hospital and takes him into the deep woods and trains him in karate. He will now begin a journey of self discovery.
